Summer Camp For Ash

Ashley got the chance to go to Summer Camp for the Week with our Church. Our church rents out "Camp Sugar Pine" and puts on their own camp for our kids. 

I was so excited for her to go because some of my great memories were made at High School Camp. I'm praying that she has a wonderful time and make some great memories of her own!

 So I sent the camera with Ash to take pics while at Camp. She only took some on the 5 hour bus ride to camp and these two little video! I guess she was having to much fun playing at camp!

Learning to Fish :)

Next week, Ashley is going to Summer Camp for the whole week. One of the activities you can do while at camp is going fishing. So we went and bought her a fishing pole to take to camp. We took the kids out to a little lake at the park to try out the new fishing pole before camp.  Scott enjoyed teaching them how to fish. 

 We had a blast learning how to fish! Can't wait to go back and actually catch something! 

Lazy Friday

The kids were wore out by the end of the week from all the fun of Storm Chasing, the Pool, and July 4th. So today we had fun just hanging out around the house. We did go out and get some Happy Meal for lunch.

So we woke up to a surprise in our fish tank. One of the new fish had about 12 babies. They are so small! Hoping they all live and do well in our tank.

                     We just hung out around the city to have some fun.

I took the kids to the Pet Store and we decided to get some new fish. I let each kid pick out one fish.

Story Time at the Library on Thursday's. Reading a new book from the Library. Ty loves Race Cars. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up he says "A Race Car Driver"

Tuesday an Evening of Storm Chasing

Scott and so much storm chasing yesterday that we decided to go again.
This time he met up with some other people who storm chase like he does.

Happy 4th of July!

Today we celebrated our Nation's birthday by going to the Beach and Storm Chasing.

We started off heading to the beach early thinking we wouldn't have any problems with parking at 8:30. Well when we got there we started to get a little worried!

Next when we finally go the parking lot we noticed this lovely sign!

We just paid $4.50 two days ago! I guess this is what you get for going on a Holiday :) Got the car parked actually a great spot along the sidewalk and off we went for some hours of fun!

After more hours than Scott thought we were staying :) We took off to go on the other side to Balboa Island to get Chocolate Covered Banana's. Since we paid so much for parking we decided to walk over to the ferry. 

Well nobody told us when we got on the Ferry that there was a 2 hour wait on the other side to come back over :( Live and Learn! We had a great day though and that is all that matters :) Making memories as a family.

We got home and Scott noticed that Thunderstorms in the mountains and the deserts so off we went for some fun Storm Chasing! 

We did see lots of fireworks in the sky on the way home from storm chasing ! The kids were fast asleep though after our fun filled 4th :)

Sunday a Day of Rest

Today we just hung out at home and rested. Ashley helped out at church and then we came home and watched T.V. 

     Tyler got ready for bed and then came in to watch a T.V. show and was dressed like this. Ha! Ha! He said "look at me I'm a rapper dude". Where he gets things I wonder sometime. I don't think I have seen a rapper in Power Rangers, the new show of choice right now. 

    Yes, don't criticize my chair. I do need a new one but with three kids money goes else where. If   someone wants to donated money to a recliner chair I will send you my address asap.  :) 

Saturday at the Pool

Today we hung out at the house, BBQ, went to swimming, watched the NASCAR Race, and went to Church.

It was really crowd at the pool since the weather decided to heat up to the mid 90's.

Here's a great photo of Ash right before church tonight. Each week she loves helping out in the Nursery with the Toddlers. We have to make sure she goes to her class at least one of the three services we have. Ash would help out at all three services if we would let her, so she usually does 2 out of 3 services in the Nursery. We love that she has a heart to serve the Lord. I pray that as she grows older that her heart for the Lord will not change.
